OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 4 Program Begins for OnePlus 11 in India and North America; Check out the steps for registration

Last month, OnePlus started its OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 3 program for OnePlus 11 users in India and North American regions. After completing the program, the company has now made available the fourth Beta update for OnePlus 11 users in both regions.

OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 4 for OnePlus 11

This Beta version arrives with some more functional features but just like the previous versions this version is not stable and arrives with some unknown and known issues. Some of the known issues mentioned by the company are-

• Color changing and slow reaction issue of icon in the control center after switching to dark mode repeatedly.
• Stuttering issue with the camera and clicking is not responsive.
• Probable flashback issue with the camera when recording videos in rear video mode.
• Lock screen notifications show blur after unlocking with a fingerprint.

OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 4 update also arrives with various fixes and improvements like system stability and performance are improved, the issue of face recognition while enrolling your face, an issue that affects transition animation is fixed, screen elements can now be fully displayed after the system navigation, issue of the private album not showing up at the bottom of Albums page is fixed and the issue of the screen going black on switching the front camera is also fixed.

How to apply?

For Indian users

• Time of Application: From November 3 until a certain number of applications is reached (you must submit your application during this time, or the application channel will be closed)
• Confirm your phone has been updated to the detectable version:

• Go to Settings > About device > Tap up to date > Tap icon on the top right > Beta program > Follow the steps to apply
• When to receive version: we will review your application within 5 workdays after the application channel is closed. If you pass the review, you will receive the version in the 3 workdays that follow.
• How to download the version after the application passed: Settings > About device > Download Now.

For North America users

Note: In order to upgrade to this build successfully, be sure that your device is in the designated OxygenOS 13.1 version below. Please be sure to backup first.

1. Download the latest ROM upgrade zip package from the specified server.
2. Copy the Upgrade package to the phone storage.
3. Install this   APK. You’ll need it to update. Then, open the app -> tap the top right gear icon -> find the upgrade package and tap it -> wait to finish the installation -> tap reboot
4. After the upgrade is complete, click Restart.
5. Update successful.
