OxygenOS 15.0.0.701 rolls out to OnePlus Pad 2, Nord 4, and 12R in India

OnePlus has started rolling out the OxygenOS 15.0.0.701 update to more devices in India, just a day after the OnePlus 12 received its own version of the same update (with a slightly different changelog). This time around, the update is making its way to the OnePlus Pad 2, OnePlus Nord 4, and OnePlus 12R — each getting a mix of new features, system improvements, and security enhancements.
As always, this is a staged rollout, so only a small group of users will see it today, with a broader push expected in the coming days.
OnePlus Pad 2 – OPD2403_15.0.0.701(EX01)
The Pad 2’s update is focused on visual improvements and security. Users can now resize Home screen folders by dragging them to either 1×2 or 2×1 layouts — a small but welcome tweak for customisation fans. Notification and Quick Settings animations have also been smoothed out for a more polished feel.
On the security side, the update includes the March 2025 Android security patch. OnePlus has also made it easier to recover your privacy password by allowing it to be linked to your account, so if you forget it, you’re not locked out of your private data.
OnePlus Nord 4 – CPH2661_15.0.0.701(EX01)
The Nord 4 gets a similar set of changes, but with a few extras. Like the Pad 2, folder resizing and animation improvements are part of the package. There’s also a visual update for 2×2 and 4×2 third-party widgets in the 4×6 layout, which should make the Home screen look more consistent.
Network performance also gets a boost — OnePlus says Wi-Fi switching and mobile data roaming have been improved for smoother transitions.
OnePlus 12R – CPH2585_15.0.0.701(EX01)
The 12R is getting the most feature-rich update of the trio. Along with folder resizing and smoother animations, the dock now supports five apps even when the Home screen is set to four apps per row. There’s also a new option in Settings that lets you customise the appearance of 2×2 third-party widgets.
Privacy gets a big upgrade here too. A new “Privacy Center” has been added to Phone Manager, giving you better control over app permissions. You’ll also get notified if an app has been accessing your location in the background for three days straight. On top of that, there’s now a one-tap toggle to disable ad tracking across all apps.
In terms of connectivity, OnePlus has worked on improving Wi-Fi stability, especially when using apps like Douyin for live streams or making video calls on WeChat. Wi-Fi and mobile data handovers have also been improved.
OnePlus 12R owners also gain some cool car-friendly features: Smart Cars now support screen mirroring and Android Auto (outside mainland China), and you can now cast any app to your car’s display — even while using Simple Mode. Note: this is only available on some ICCOA-compliant cars for now.
As usual, the update is rolling out in batches. If you haven’t received it yet, don’t worry — it’s on the way. OnePlus says it will expand the rollout gradually over the coming days.
