Realme 9 Pro 5G Made Eligible for the Realme UI 5.0 Early Access in India
Realme’s 2022 flagship, the Realme 9 Pro 5G, has been made eligible for the Realme UI 5.0 early access version in India. Interested users of the smartphone can now apply to be a part of the program.
Here’s more about it.
Realme 9 Pro 5G – Realme UI 5.0 Early Access
The Realme UI 5.0 early access version is based on the latest Android 14 operating system and will integrate the latest features of the custom skin. Realme 9 Pro 5G Indian users can also now experience these in India. However, as this update is still a beta update, it will be carrying certain issues within it.
Firstly speaking of the changelogs, the Aquamorphic Design has been upgraded to offer a better and refined color experience. Aquamorphic-themed ringtones have also been added, and the system notification sounds are revamped. The system animations too have received improvements, along with improvements in system stability, launch speed of apps, and other animations. An upgraded photo and video related permission management system, as well as added Fluid Cloud and added widget recommendations (to improve Shelf) are also part of the update.
Coming to the known issues, the desktop sliding function may not work while using floating windows. This can be fixed by pulling down the status bar. The early access version won’t contain the Glance lock screen. It will be introduced later with newer updates.
To update, users after enabling Developer Mode can submit their application via the software update application channel. Do note that the applications will only be reviewed in batches and there will only be limited number of seats. Feedback can be submitted through logkit.
To keep in mind, the device should not be rooted and it should have at least 60% battery charge and 15G storage space left. The system data is also advised to be backed up to avoid any mishappenings. Some third party applications may also face compatibility issues.
