Realme GT 5 and GT 5 240W now receiving Realme UI 14.0.0.703 feature rich update, new smooth animation, new control experience and more

Realme has started rolling out a new Realme UI 14.0.0.703 update for the Realme GT 5 and GT 5 240W users in the China region. This update comes with several key improvements and also integrates the May 2024 Security patch update. Since it is in the rollout phase, some of you may receive this update early, while some may get it within the next week or two.

But those getting it early will also have the option to submit bugs to Realme via this link.

• New visual effects such as wallpaper scaling and seamless icon transformation when launching and exiting applications, making them smoother and more fluid

• Added notification and control center pull-down bounce effect, icon and card layering effect, more natural and delicate

• Added unlocking and entering desktop icons and cards in layers, wallpaper zooming effects

• Added wallpaper scaling and screen brightness gradient effects when turning the screen on and off

• Optimize the background color and Gaussian blur effect of the control center, notification card, desktop drawer, and global search

New control experience

• Added side-slide interruption effect when launching and exiting apps

• During the new app launch animation, you can slide back to the previous animation

• Added horizontal full-screen application side swipe, swipe up to exit to quickly interrupt the animation

• Added a large folder stacking area in the lower right corner. Click to view more apps

• New large folder support icon sinking gesture, easy to open the application with one hand

• Optimize the response speed of click and slide operations, desktop and multi-tasking operations are more stable and blocking is more timely
