Realme GT 6T Indian variant now recieving stable RealmeUI 6.0 update

Realme has begun rolling out the stable Android 15 based Realme UI 6.0 update for GT 6T users in India. Following November 2024’s early access beta program, the stable version is now reaching users in phases, with full rollout expected to take 1-2 weeks.

The update brings changes to how animations work on the GT 6T. The new parallel rendering system means your apps should feel smoother when switching between them, even under heavy use. The user interface also gets a fresh look with redesigned app icons sporting vibrant colors and new visual effects like real-time blending and dynamic blur.

Also, GT 6T users get a new battery protection feature that stops charging at 80% to help preserve battery life. There’s also better integration with iOS devices – you can now transfer files between your GT 6T and Apple devices.

The customization options have been expanded too. The Always-On Display now supports both flux and classic modes, while the lock screen gets new features like clock color blending and AI-powered depth effects. You can even use glass patterns and blur effects on your home screen for a different look.

The new hidden apps feature boosts privacy —you can now keep certain apps in a password-protected folder right on your home screen. The payment protection system has also been improved, with new alerts that warn you if it detects any screen sharing or accessibility features that might risk your security during transactions.

Introduces customisation for Always-On Display, the Lock screen and the Home screen. Always-On Display supports flux and classic modes. The Lock screen supports clock colour blending, glass textures, blurred wallpapers, AI depth effects, AI auto-fills and more. The Home screen supports glass patterns, blurred wallpapers and more.
Introduces flux themes with one-take transition animations, enabling seamless and smooth transitions between Always-On Display, Lock screen and Home screen, significantly enhancing visual continuity.

Live Alerts

Adds a new Live Alerts design that is focused on the visualisation of information, offering better information display efficiency. Live Alerts is also positioned in the centre, creating a more balanced display.
Optimises the way you interact with Live Alerts capsules – just tap a capsule and see it expand into a card. You can quickly switch between multiple live activities simply by swiping left or right on the capsules in the status bar, making it more efficient to view information.
Introduces a new Live Alerts animation system featuring elastic design, seamless expansion and dynamic real-time blur to enhance the visuals of cards.

Livephoto

Extends live photo duration to up to 3 seconds, capturing more of life’s precious moments.

Photo editing

Introduces globally reversible photo editing capability that remembers the settings for your previous edits so they can be applied to subsequent edits, keeping the creative flow uninterrupted.
Improves integration between Camera and filters, so filters that are applied to photos when taken can be edited, changed and removed later in Photos.

Introduces battery protection reminder to turn on Charging limit when your device is connected to a charger for too long.

Sounds & vibration

Upgrades Holo Audio to support internet calls and meetings, delivering a more immersive audio experience.

Optimises your multitasking experience by navigating you to the last used app once you enter the recent tasks view, making app switching more convenient.
Optimises the Drawer mode by retaining the Home screen app layout when you enter Drawer mode for the first time.

Payment protection

Optimises the Payment protection feature by prompting risk alerts during payment if screen sharing or accessibility control risks are detected, ensuring the safety of your assets.

Safety guard

Introduces personal safety features in one place, including SOS calls, security checks, disaster alerts, quick access to first aid information and more.
