The Chinese consumer electronics maker, Realme, has now announced its January 2025 experience upgrade plan officially in its home market. This is the first wave update and will be rolled out to 12 devices.

The January 2025 experience upgrade has already started to roll out and before the 24th of January 2025 this month, the Realme GT 7 Pro, Realme GT 5 Pro, Realme GT 6, Realme GT 5, Realme Neo 7, Realme GT Neo 6, Realme GT Neo 6 SE, and Realme GT 5 240W models will be receiving it. Later, the Realme GT Neo 5, Realme GT Neo 5 SE, Realme GT Neo 5 240W, and Realme 13 Pro+ models will get the upgrade, before the 14th of February 2025, next month.
Speaking of the changelogs, in the Photo Album, support for encrypting the entire album, new album view filtering function, and display date on slider, will be added with the upgrade. On the Weather app, weather & air quality city ranking information and rainfall probability weather display will be added. The weather desktop card will also be receiving some optimizations that will give it a more exquisite style and reasonable layout.
Other useful features that will be introduced are added ethereal fingerprint style, added mobile phone transfer support for iOS live photo migration, added support for flashlight display in fluid cloud, three new film style filters (fresh, retro, & transparent) added to photo mode and portrait mode, one-click command support on Xiaobu commands, added support for dragging floating window to max size, added calendar countdown, added ‘File Recommendation’ in File Manager, added remote services, and added security features.
