Realme UI 5.0 Early Access Version 2 Announced for Narzo 60 Pro 5G Smartphone in India

The 2023 released Narzo 60 Pro 5G smartphone has now been made eligible to receive the Realme UI 5.0 early access version 2 update. Interested Indian users of the smartphone can now apply to be a part of this beta program.

The second early access version of the Realme UI 5.0 custom skin based on the Android 14 operating system is now available for the Indian users of the Narzo 60 Pro 5G smartphone, but do keep in mind that as this is still the beta version, it will carry both known and unknown issues.

Some of the changelogs of this version of the Realme UI 5.0 are the upgraded Aquamorphic Design with natural, gentle, and clearer color style, added Aquamorphic-themed ringtones and revamped system notification sounds, improved system animations, and also improvements in system stability and launch speed of apps. Added Fluid Cloud and File Dock features, more widget recommendations in Shelf, carbon tracking AOD, and the improved photo and video permission management system are also part of the changelogs.

Regarding the known issues, users might not be able to slide the desktop while using floating windows. They can pull down the status bar to fix this issue. The Glance lock screen won’t be present in this early access version, and is said to be made available on the device with further future updates.

How to apply?

For those candidates who are ready and interested in joining the Realme UI 5.0 early access version 2 program can apply for it via the “Software Update Application” channel in “Settings”, after enabling the Developer Mode. Only a few limited seats are there, and the applications will only be accepted in batches.

Users must make sure that the device is not rooted and there is at least 15GB of storage and 60% battery charge left within the device to prevent any update failure. Also to note, they will also have to ensure that their device runs on the latest stable version of the Realme UI, and that all the applications on the device are up to date.

Rolling back to the previous stable version is also possible after updating with the early access version. Download the zip package from Realme’s server and locally install it.
