Realme UI 5.0 Early Access Version 2 Announced for the Flagship Realme 11 in China

Realme’s 11 smartphone is now made eligible for the Realme UI 5.0 early access version 2 based on the Android 14 operating system in China. Interested candidates can apply to be a part of the program.

Realme 11 – Realme UI 5.0 Early Access Version 2

This Realme UI 5.0 early access version 2 for the Realme 11 smartphone users in China will only be open to 1,000 selected candidates and will carry the firmware version – “RMX3751_14.0.0.90(SP01CN01)”. The early access version 2 of the Realme UI 5.0 custom skin is also still in its beta stage and will have potential risks along with it, however, it will allow users to experience more new features.

Some of the changelogs include improvements in system stability, application startup speed, & optimizations for animation fluency; upgraded Aquamorphic color system with a more natural, soft, & clearer interface which brings a comfortable color experience, added Aquamorphic themed system ringtones, optimized sound effects, & better sound quality, optimization for system dynamic effects; added new privacy watermark, and an improved photo & video permission management system.

Other changes for better productivity are the added Realme UI ubiquitous service smart car space; added new transfer station for storing files; optimized cross-device synchronization, upgraded My Device to Device Space to better manage interconnected devices; and easy phone migration features.

How to apply?

Realme 11 smartphone users of China who would like to be a part of the Realme UI 5.0 early access version 2 program can apply via the beta section on the software page. Make sure that the device is running on the latest Realme UI stable version before applying and before updating, make sure that the device has more than 15GB of internal storage and 60% of battery charge left. They also have to ensure that their device is not rooted.

The early access version 2 update won’t wipe out any personal data, but it is best to back it up. Also, some applications are still not compatible with Android 14 and may likely have compatibility issues with the latest early access version. With subsequent updates, this will be resolved.

For those candidates who wish to return to the previous stable version, they may download the zip package from the respective Realme server and locally install it to roll back.
