Realme UI 5.0 Updates Carrying New Features Coming to Many Realme Devices Soon

Realme, the Chinese smartphone, and other consumer electronics maker has already rolled out the latest Realme UI 5.0 update based on the Android 14 operating system to many of its devices, as well as some newly introduced features.

With the aim of further improving its user experience, Realme is planning on rolling out more new features to its devices starting this month.

Realme UI Updates Coming with More New Features

The new features will be arriving on all the eligible Realme devices in two batches and the first batch update rollout is said to be completed by the 31st of March 2024. The next second batch update roll-out will begin on the 10th of March 2024 onwards.

The features/upgrades that will be coming in the first batch update are the added new shake ad jump interception reminder, added device sensor permission management (once disabled, no shake ads will be triggered), screen recorder will support floating windows and fluid cloud modes, rebound animation effect when lock screen enters home screen will be optimized, optimizations will be brought to the display style of personal hotspot fluid cloud connection and a number of devices will be displayed more clearly, support for individual app refresh rate settings, and overwrite for original pictures after editing pictures in Album.

The eligible devices in the first batch include the GT 5 Pro, GT 5, GT Neo 5 series, GT Neo 3, GT 2 Master Exploration Edition, GT 2 Pro, and GT Master Exploration Edition models. These devices will receive the update before the 29th of February 2024. A few other devices (devices with Realme UI 5.0 onboard) will also be receiving this update, before 31st March 2024.

The second batch update will bring features such as new information screen fingerprint unlocking, QQ music display support, weather forecast experience optimization for the next 15 days, Xiaobu screen recognition picture saving support, Calendar’s month-view displays week numbers, new year-month-day navigation bar switch setting for photo album, custom font style display support for status bar text, lock screen password interface layout and design optimized, and optimization for Xiaobu screen recognition speed.

This update will be rolled out to the GT 5 Pro, GT 5, GT Neo 5 series, GT 2 Master Exploration Edition, and the Realme 11 Pro+ devices starting from March 10th, 2024, as mentioned above. Later, it will also be rolled out to other models.
