Realme, the Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, has opened the Realme UI 5.0 public beta recruitment program for its Realme V50 series smartphone users in China. Interested and experienced users can now be a part of it.
Check out more about the update below.
Realme V50 and V50s – Realme UI 5.0 Public Beta Program
As mentioned, this update is only for the V50 and V50s smartphone users of Realme and as this is a beta update, it won’t be as stable as the standard Realme UI stable versions. The recruitment channel is already live and any number of users can enroll for it.
Do keep in mind that this update won’t be erasing or modifying any system data, but it is best advised to keep it backed up before the update process. Also to note, as certain apps are still not fully compatible with the latest Android 14 operating system, certain compatibility issues might be faced. At least 15GB of storage and 60% of battery life should also be left within the device too to avoid any sorts of update failure.
About the changelogs, added Aquatic-themed ringtones, optimized system UI prompt sound effects, and improved sound quality will be offered to users with the update. Optimizations will also be brought to system dynamics to ensure a delicate and silky smooth experience. Added privacy watermark and an optimized photo and video permission management system are two of the changelogs on the system security side. Other features include a new transfer station, optimized mobile phone relocation, and support for displaying and inputting more special characters.
A roll-back link has also been given on the respective update thread for users who wish to re-install the previous stable version. Feedback regarding any bugs or issues can also be submitted via the system feedback toolbox.
