The Chinese smartphone maker, Realme, has made its Narzo 60 Pro 5G, 11 Pro 5G, and 11 Pro+ 5G smartphones eligible for the Realme UI 5.0 open beta program based on the Android 14 beta.

Here’s more about it.

Narzo 60 Pro 5G, 11 Pro 5G, and 11 Pro+ 5G – Realme UI 5.0 Open Beta Program

The Indian users of the Narzo 60 Pro 5G, 11 Pro 5G, and 11 Pro+ 5G smartphones can now apply and be a part of the open beta program of the Realme UI 5.0. As this is a beta version, it will have certain known and unknown issues, however, the users of the mentioned devices will be able to experience the features of the latest custom skin.

Changelogs include an upgraded Aquamorphic design with a much more comfortable color experience, Aquamorphic-themed ringtones, and revamped system notification sounds. System animations have also been improved and made smoother, along with improvements in system stability and launch speed of apps.

On the security side, the brand has added a photo and video-related permission management system. For better productivity, there is also a Fluid Cloud feature (for viewing up-to-date information at a glance), File Dock (where contents can be dragged, dropped, and later viewed), improved Shelf (with added widget recommendations), and a carbon tracking AOD (which allows users to visualize carbon emissions)

Some of the known issues are the problem with the sliding desktop when using floating windows, and the absence of a Glance lock screen.

Users can apply for the Realme UI 5.0 open beta update through the software update application channel, after enabling Developer Mode. Do make sure that there is at least 60% battery charge left before updating, and that the device runs on Realme UI’s latest stable version before applying. Feedback regarding any sort of bugs or other issues can be submitted via the log kit on the device.
