RedMagic OS 9.0 Rolled Out For RedMagic 8 Pro Beta Testers; RedMagic 8 Series Will Get The Official Release In Coming Weeks
RedMagic officially released the RedMagic OS 8 update based on Android 14 for the RedMagic 8 Pro smartphone last month. The update allowed users to explore some new features with the RedMagic 8 custom skin. And now just after a month, the device has received a new update.
RedMagic has today officially announced that RedMagic OS 9.0 based on Android 14 is being rolled out for RedMagic 8 Pro Beta testers.

It also confirmed that the official release for all the RedMagic 8 series smartphones will be done in the coming weeks. Hence, the users will not have to wait much to try out this latest version. Last year in November, the RedMagic 9 Pro series made its official debut and it arrived with the latest RedMagic OS 9.0 based on Android 14. And now its predecessor will also be receiving this upgrade.
RedMagic OS 9.0 arrives with a couple of new features and under-the-hood changes like- a new AI algorithm, various customization options, optimizations, and much more.
RedMagic 8 Pro: Specifications
REDMAGIC 8 PRO is powered by the 3.2 MHz octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The phone comes with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a 6.8-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1116*2480 pixels (FHD+), and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It comes with up to 16 GB RAM, up to 512 GB of in-built storage and has a battery life of 6000mAH with 65 W fast charging. RedMagic 8 Pro on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring 50MP+8MP+2MP. It has a single front camera of 16 MP.
