Samsung Brings New Features to its Galaxy A Series Devices with the One UI 5.1

Samsung has brought some new features to the Galaxy A series devices with the One UI 5.1. Some of the devices in the series have already received these features with more devices to receive it in the near future however the availability of the firmware might vary depending on the country, carrier or the model.

Samsung Brings New Features to its Galaxy A Series Devices

The new features brought to the Galaxy A series devices with the One UI 5.1 custom user interface includes many notable changes and addition to the Camera and Gallery apps, changes in the Weather app, changes in the modes and routines function, and many more additional features.

Users of the Galaxy A series devices with the new features will be able to easily change the color tones of their selfies, enhance image mastering, and also make powerful searches with the Camera app. In the Gallery app, they will also be able to create a shared family album and are also provided with revamped display info.

In the case of the Weather app, users from now on will be able to find useful information in a much more convenient and seamless manner. An hourly precipitation graph is also now been added to the Weather app. Users will also be able to receive a summary from the Weather app as well.

The display wallpaper will also now change according to the modes selected by the user. More actions are also now available in routines.

Significant improvements have also been made in the case of multitasking. Users will be able to easily minimize and switch to full-screen view, access the most used app on the split-screen menu, and are also provided with improved multitasking capabilities in DeX.

Other features include the option to check the battery levels of connected devices, receive settings and Spotify suggestions, and also the option to select where to save screenshots and screen recordings. Users will also receive improved search results and can also continue with their search on another device.
