Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro earbuds receives Bluetooth Auracast support with new update

Samsung has rolled out a new update that brings Bluetooth Auracast support to Galaxy Buds 2 Pro earbuds. The update comes with the firmware version R510XXUAWI2 or R510XXU0AWI2 and has a download size of 5.88 MB. This update can be downloaded through the Galaxy Wearable App. You just need to navigate to Galaxy Buds 2 Pro from the hamburger menu on the left side and then navigate to Earbuds Settings>> Earbuds software update and then tap Download and Install. As soon as it is downloaded it will take 2-5 minutes to get installed.

For those who don’t know Samsung announced the Bluetooth Auracast last year. It lets stream audio to unlimited Bluetooth wireless earbuds or speakers. It’s like a group of friends listening to the same music through compatible Galaxy Buds connected to a phone by Bluetooth. However, this feature can only work when earbuds support LE Audio. And for Samsung, Galaxy Buds 2 Pro are the only earbuds to support it. Samsung can soon launch earbuds with it in the upcoming days.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro costs around Rs 15.990 in the Indian market as of 15 October 2023. Those who are looking to buy these can simply buy them from the Amazon link below.
