Samsung Galaxy S22 Series Users In Europe Receives Second January Security Patch

Samsung Galaxy S22 series users in the Europe region have received a second January security patch this month. Earlier users received it somewhere in the middle of this month. This has been shared by the tipster named Tarun Vats on X with the screenshot of the update receiving it. 

The update can be identified by firmware version S906BXXU7DXA6/ S906BOXM7DXA6/S906BXXU7DXA6. It has a download size of 249.53 MB. The update comes with improved camera performance and enhanced system security. It’s recommended to download the update using Wi-Fi. You can manually check the update by navigating to Settings > Software update on your device.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 smartphone features a 6.1-inch wide 120 Hz AMOLED display. It is powered by Exynos 2200 paired with the Xclipse 920.

In the camera section, the smartphone sports a 50MP wide camera with a 10MP telephoto camera and 12 ultrawide cameras. The front side of the smartphone comes with a 10MP selfie camera. It runs Android 12 which is upgradable to Android 14. 

The smartphone is backed by a 3700 mAh battery that supports 25W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and 4.5W wireless reverse charging.
