Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra receives December 2023 security update in US
The South Korean tech giant Samsung has released a new security update to its current generation flagship smartphone- Galaxy S23 Ultra. The Galaxy S23 series recently received an Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update across the world and this is the second security update that which Galaxy S23 Ultra has received after the Android 14 update. The update is only available in the US market and is being rolled out to enhance the system’s security.
Galaxy S23 Ultra: December 2023 Security update
This latest update integrates the December 2023 security patch to the device and arrives with firmware version S918U1UES2BWKA/S918U1OYM2BWKA/S918U1UES2BWKA. This is only a security update and does not involve any improvement or new features. The size of this update is 412.40MB.
To download this latest update, go to Settings>Tap on Software update> Click on Download and Install.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra: Specifications
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra comes with a 6.8-inch wide dynamic AMOLED display that sports a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits of peak brightness. It runs on One UI 6 based on Android 14. The handset is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with the Adreno 740 GPU.
