Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3 receives One UI 5.1.1 update
Samsung has begun to roll out the OneUI 5.1.1 firmware update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. As of now, this update is being rolled out in Europe and Asian countries. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 carries the firmware version F711BXXU6FWH3 whereas the Galaxy Z Flip 3 carries the firmware version F926BXXU5FWH5. This update brings a number of improvements and new features to the users.
Improvements
This update makes multitasking easy for users with improvements in the Flex mode. Now users can use more apps in Flex Mode and offer a customizable Flex Mode toolbar. A new button has also been introduced with this update for displaying and hiding the Flex Mode Panel. Improvements have also been made in Quick Share Facility and Samsung Health, Taskbar, and Gallery. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 has benefited from some of the exclusive features with this update are enhanced Flex Mode layout for the camera’s Pro modes and a new option to select multiple pictures in Capture View.
The rollout for the update began last month with Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series last month. And now the company has decided to roll it out for older models. As soon as other models get added to the list we will update you.
Users can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings> Software Update > Download and Install.
