Samsung now rolling out Android 13 based One UI 5.0 update for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (P610)

Samsung released the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update to the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite users in Europe. The update is arriving for the Tab S6 Lite tablet carrying model number SM-P610 with firmware version P610XXU2FWA5 and November 2022 security patch.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S8 line-ups had already received the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 stable update last year, and in December only Samsung released One UI 5.0 for Tab S6 Lite LTE, carrying model number SM-P619 which was identified by the firmware version P619XXU1BVK6 and the November 2022 security patch.

Today Samsung announced the release of One UI 5.0 update to another of its devices as well. Though right now the update is only in Europe, Samsung will soon be expanding to other countries as well.

The main purpose of the One UI 5.0 is a boost the performance of the device and several other customizations for a smoother performance.

Other than that, a few specifications include various features such as text extraction which allows one to copy text content directly from the camera viewfinder or image stored in Gallery. For mobile phones, there are new additions in the Good Lock customization system including Camera Assistant, Dropship, and RegiStar.

In fact, the new One UI 5.0 update is of significant importance to Galaxy devices because it provides its users with an exclusive interface along with other enhancements of visuals and animations.
