Samsung rolls out first Galaxy S25 Series update in India, expands to UAE

Samsung has begun rolling out the first update for its Galaxy S25 series in India, following its initial release in Korea. The update is now reaching Indian users, with some reports suggesting it’s also becoming available in the UAE.

The firmware update carries distinct version numbers for each model in the series:

  • Galaxy S25: S931BXXU1AYB4
  • Galaxy S25 Plus: S936BXXU1AYB4
  • Galaxy S25 Ultra: S938BXXU1AYB4

While the Korean version of the update was around 585.90MB, the Indian variant comes in at 666.08MB and includes the February 2025 security patch. In the UAE, users are reporting a download size of approximately 658.78MB. This update primarily focuses on security improvements across all devices in the series, without introducing any new features.

What’s particularly noteworthy is that while Galaxy S25 series users are already enjoying OneUI 7, many eligible devices from previous generations are still awaiting their stable OneUI 7 update. But some rumours claim that the beta may end soon, and Samsung may finally release the stable versions soon.
