Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S8 Series Devices Featuring Android 15 Based One UI 7 Spotted on Geekbench

Very recently, the Galaxy A53 5G was spotted on the Geekbench database with the Android 15 based One UI 7 custom skin onboard, and in a similar way, previously the Galaxy S21 FE 5G was also spotted on the benchmark database. Samsung seems to be testing more of its devices with the next One UI 7 custom skin as the 2022-released Galaxy Tab S8 series tablet models have also now appeared on the Geekbench database, running on the Android 15 based One UI 7 custom skin.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Series x Android 15 Based One UI 7 – Spotted on Geekbench

It is the 5G models of the Galaxy Tab S8 series (8GB RAM variants) that are currently being tested with the One UI 7 custom skin that is based on the Android 15 operating system. The vanilla Galaxy Tab S8 5G has scored single-core and multi-core scores of 1726 points and 3828 points respectively, whereas the Galaxy Tab S8+ 5G attained a little higher single-core and multi-core scores of 1733 points and 3953 points respectively. About the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra 5G, it achieved only 1716 points and 3924 points respectively on the single-core and multi-core tests.

While nothing more has been revealed via the above Geekbench listings, one thing has been confirmed. The Galaxy Tab S8 series 5G models are also eligible to receive the official stable version of the One UI 7 custom skin. Also to add, these models won’t likely receive any beta updates, but directly the stable version.

Regarding the One UI 7 official version release, it is expected to take place next month along with the next Galaxy S25 series models at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event that is believed to be conducted on the 22nd of January 2025.
