The South Korean consumer electronics manufacturer, Samsung, has already started the One UI 6 beta program for some of its devices and now, the brand has made it available to the 2022 flagship Galaxy S22 series smartphones as well.
Here’s more about it.
Galaxy S22 Series – One UI 6 Beta Program
Samsung had first opened the One UI 6 beta program for its Galaxy S23 series devices of this year. It was made available in the countries of the United States, and also in Germany and South Korea last month, in August 2023. Almost a month later, early this month in September 2023, it was made available to more countries, including India. The other countries were China, Poland, and also the countries of the United Kingdom.
For the Galaxy S22 series smartphone users who have been waiting for the access to the One UI 6 beta program, here’s some exciting news. Samsung has opened the registrations to the Galaxy S22 series smartphone users too. Do note, this is for the unlocked versions and not for carrier exclusive models.
For those interested Galaxy S22 series smartphone users who would like to enter in to the One UI 6 beta program, they’ll need the Samsung Members app on their device, and will have to sign in with a valid Samsung account. They then have to register for the One UI beta program. Go to “Software Updates” in “Settings” and you’ll find the beta update there. Download it and then install.
It is also advised that users in order to not lose any of their valuable data by some unfortunate means, must always have their device backed up. They must also keep in mind, as this is a beta update, the chances of bugs and other issues are high.
