Vivo 2023 Developer Conference Event Sneak Peek: Some OriginOS 4 Features Revealed

The China-based consumer electronics company, Vivo, has scheduled to conduct its 2023 developer conference event on the 1st of November 2023, next month, and the brand’s latest custom skin – the OriginOS 4, will be announced.

Ahead of the developer conference, the brand has now revealed some of the features of the OriginOS 4 custom skin, before it gets officially unveiled next month.

OriginOS 4 Features Revealed

Vivo will be officially unveiling its OriginOS 4 custom skin in a few days and from the sneak peek that has been revealed, we are able to understand that the OriginOS 4 will feature a more advanced self-developed AI large model, which is going to be the first large model in multiple lists, first open source large model in the mobile phone industry, and will offer the first global intelligent assistance.

The soon-to-be-unveiled OriginOS 4 will also be offering a much smoother user experience when compared to its previous versions and will consist of a virtual graphics card, Unfair Scheduling 2.0 support, and heterogeneous computing space.

The self-developed operating system from the brand will also be the industry’s first operating system having its system framework completely written in Rust language, a programming language which gives emphasizes more on performance, safety, and memory management.

Vivo’s upcoming flagship devices, the vanilla X100 and X100 Pro smartphones, are most probably going to arrive with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, and are likely to run on the Android 14-based OriginOS 4. Previously, the two smartphones were expected to launch at the brand’s developer conference event, but now they are being rumored to launch in the third week of November.
