Xiaomi unveiled the most awaited Xiaomi 13 Ultra in China on April 18. Even before its launch the smartphone has captured people’s attention and was apparently considered the camera king. Xiaomi claims that this newly launched device is not a phone with a camera but a camera phone. The company’s main focus was to provide real phone cameras to its users.
This is so evident as till now not many people own this device but Xiaomi has released two versions of the MIUI 14 OTA update in less than 24 hours for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The main focus of both updates is to boost the camera performance of the device and enhance the user experience.
The first patch MIUI 14.0.7.0 has a capacity of up to 6.5 GB while the second patch MIUI 14.0.8.0 has a capacity of just 87MB. Xiaomi has advised all users to upgrade their devices to make the system more stable and improve shooting quality.
There are three main upgrades :
- Optimize the picture quality of some scenes and improve the quality of photo shooting
- The default zoom ratio of street shooting mode is adjusted to 1.5X
- Street shooting mode fixed focus distance adjusted to 0.6m/1.2m/5m
