Xiaomi Announces the HyperOS Update for its Mix Fold 3 Foldable Smartphone in China
The Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi, is reported to have announced the HyperOS update for the brand’s latest foldable – the Mix Fold 3.

Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 – HyperOS Update
Xiaomi launched its Mix Fold 3 smartphone back in the month of August 2023, two months after which, the HyperOS custom skin was released. The brand had recently rolled out the update to its POCO F5 smartphone, and 8 other Redmi and Xiaomi branded devices that are to receive the update soon were revealed as well.
Now, Xiaomi has officially announced the HyperOS update for the third foldable device from the brand – the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3. As per what has been shared, the update will be rolling out from today, on the 22nd of December 2023 onwards.
Also, the poster image points out that the HyperOS update will bring features such as large-screen multi-tasking, full ecology inter-connection, and hardware-level privacy protection. Between 20th December 2023 and 17th February 2024, purchase privileges like a complimentary gift box, 180 days of broken screen protection, and 180 days of exchange (no repair) for new Mix Fold 3 customers in China are also being offered.
