Xiaomi HyperOS Beta Testing Function Now Available on the Brand’s Community App
Xiaomi, the Chinese leading smartphone and other consumer electronics maker has announced the HyperOS beta testing via the Xiaomi Community app. Interested eligible users can now apply to be a part of the program.

Xiaomi has officially shared this news through the brand’s Xiaomi HyperOS Twitter/X handle mentioning that the beta testing function of the latest custom skin is available to some of the eligible users via the Xiaomi Community app. By becoming a beta tester, the selected users will be able to get the beta version of the Xiaomi HyperOS custom skin and thereby experience its latest new features.

Xiaomi unveiled its Xiaomi HyperOS custom skin based on the Android 14 operating system back in the month of October 2023, and the 14 series flagship smartphones were the first to feature the latest custom skin onboard.

Xiaomi HyperOS – Features
The Xiaomi HyperOS custom skin is based on Linux and the brand’s own self-developed Vela system and brings many customization features for its users which comprises new templates, widgets, and fonts. The app icons more or less remain the same, however there is a noticeable refinement change in the control center.
It also provides multi-device connectivity via HyperConnect, along with other features such as camera switching, smooth data transfer, HyperMind, speech recognition, image search, and AI artwork creation. Significant improvements have also been brought to the security side offering a safeguard over users’ sensitive data, as well as extending this to all the other connected devices.
