Xiaomi registers “mios.cn”- could be used for brand’s self developed OS

Xiaomi- one of the top smartphone brands was said to be working on its self-developed operating system. There have been numerous reports published in the past months that talked about Xiaomi’s OS, even though there were many screenshots circulating over the internet that showed Xiaomi’s highly customized and self-developed OS- MiOS. But since the brand didn’t make any official announcement about its upcoming OS the reports were thought to be false.

Well maybe the reports were right and Xiaomi was just not ready to launch the most talked about OS at that time. This is because tipster ICE Universe who goes by @UniverseIce on X handle has revealed that Xiaomi has registered the name “mios.cn.”

Since the brand has registered the name it is expected that Xiaomi’s self-developed operating system might be launched soon for the Xiaomi users. Though Xiaomi has still not mentioned anything but due to the registration of the name it is believed that the brand might soon announce the release date of its Operating System.

The specifics of MiOS are still a mystery for all of us but we might get more details in this regard in the coming days. So stay tuned to get more updates about MiOS.
