Power Sector employees will hold a nationwide protest against privatisation policies on February 1
All India Power Engineers Federation (AIPEF) has announced power sector employees will carry a federal revolt against privatisation systems on Tuesday.
In a statement AIPEF informed that On the alarm of National Coordination Committee of Electricity Employees & Engineers (NCCOEEE) Power Employees and Engineers across the nation will carry revolt exhibitions against privatisation strategies of Central Government.
As per to the announcement, NCCOEEE has moreover agreed that body council governors of NCCOEEE will convene the Punjab Governor on February 1. They will hand over an inscription to him against the privatisation of Power Department, Chandigarh.
NCCOEEE body council bureau bearers will communicate the strike conference of Puducherry power workers on February 2 at Puducherry.
AIPEF Chairman Shailendra Dubey told that On visit of NCCOEEE about 1.5 million Power Employees and Engineers all over the nation will carry national revolt or rallies on February 1 in all district bureau and undertakings against privatisation strategies of Central Government.
The major need of Power Employees and Engineers are
- withdraw Electricity Bill 2021, scrap judgment of privatisation of earnings-making power bureaus of Union Territories including Chandigarh, Dadra Nagar, Daman and Diu and Puducherry
- integrate all unbundled energy essentials in states like KSEB Limited in Kerala and HPSEB Limited in Himachal Pradesh
- implement old allowance strategy for all power workers enrolled after unbundling of SEBs
- Govern all outsourced power workers as the Telangana administration has accomplished, he expanded.
Dubey announced that NCCOEEE core council governors will enter Chandigarh on February 1 to assist UT Power Employees demonstration against privatisation.
The administrators will convene the chief on February 1 and fulfill a memorandum to him against the privatisation of the earnings-making power bureau of Chandigarh.
Chandigarh Power Department is receiving earnings for the previous 7 years. Revenue of the session 2020-2021 prevailed at Rs 257 Crore, and line casualties in Chandigarh are almost 9.2%.
