Rahul Gandhi was seen in a nightclub in a viral video
Rahul Gandhi, the former Congress chairman, was seen in a viral video at a nightclub in Kathmandu. The viral video appears to be set at a discotheque, with people drinking alcohol all around him. The viral video has gone viral at a time when Congress is in the midst of a leadership crisis, with the party’s attempt to bring in poll expert Prashant Kishor failing.
Rahul Gandhi, who is currently in Kathmandu, is said to have attended a friend’s wedding a day ago. The Congress leader is seen visiting the celebration in the alleged footage. On numerous social media platforms, the video has gone viral. He arrived in Nepal’s capital city on Monday afternoon, according to the Kathmandu Post. Bhim Udas, a former Nepali ambassador to Myanmar, was quoted in the daily as claiming that he had invited Rahul Gandhi to attend his daughter’s wedding.
According to the Nepali publication, Udas’ daughter Sumnima, a former CNN correspondent, is marrying Nima Martin Sherpa. According to a Kathmandu Post article, Rahul Gandhi visited Kathmandu in August 2018 on his route to Kailash Mansarovar. He appears in a viral video from a Lord of the Rings nightclub. The contents of the viral video, however, have not been independently verified. He even called on the Chinese envoy during the Galwan crisis, when Indian and Chinese troops were fighting each other.

In political circles, Congress is often regarded as having a leadership problem. The lengthy discussions with poll strategist Prashant Kishor abruptly came to a stop only a few days ago. On several topics, including price rises and unemployment, Rahul Gandhi has recently criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central administration. He has been openly criticizing the government on Twitter. Rahul Gandhi had slammed the Centre for the “job crisis, power crisis, and inflation” the day before.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi slammed Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday, calling him a “full-time tourist and a part-time politician, who is filled with hypocrisy”. Naqvi told ANI: “Pappu Ji (Rahul Gandhi) is a full-time tourist and a part-time politician who is full of hypocrisy. After getting time from traveling, Rahul Gandhi fabricates fake stories and remarks and tries to mislead the people of this country,”
He further added, “His remarks (Rahul Gandhi) misleads his party members, not the people of this country. The situation will remain the same if he will walk on this path only.”
