Roller Champions: A Long-Awaited Game from Ubisoft Will Be Launched by Next Week
As per the news floating around the internet, we came to know that Ubisoft’s Roller Champions will be launched next week on May 25th, nearly three years after its initial announcement at E3 2019. A free-to-play, fast-paced roller derby game based on Rocket League and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater Splash was supposed to be launched in early 2020, however, due to delays, the release date has been pushed back to the month of February 2022. But, after a few alpha and beta tests, as Ubisoft does with multiplayer games, Roller Champions is officially fully available next week on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
Meanwhile, unlike the Epic Games Store, Stadia, and Amazon Luna versions, the Nintendo Switch version does not currently have a release date, so switch owners will have to wait a little longer.
Roller Champions will be chosen by a successful score at the end of each lap, in which competitors compete in three-person teams and sprint around the Roller Derby track while grasping the ball, according to reports. The winner of this game should acquire the most points at the end of the game, or five points from the beginning.
Moreover, we found that players can earn helmets, outfits, skates, emotes, and more with the Battle Pass, which features both free and premium (purchased) tiers. When switching between PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, cross-progression allows players to keep their character and Battle Pass progress.
