The hackers’ group has previously claimed responsibility for a number of confidential data leaks around the world.
With the Anonymous Hacker Collective launching a cyber-attack on Sri Lanka, experts are warning that the group’s involvement is misguided and could have serious consequences for Sri Lankan society.
According to the collective’s Twitter page, “#OpSriLanka” has been launched against President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s government.
