The Ransomware Task Force (RTF) has published a new blueprint with over 40 recommendations to assist SMEs and Small and medium-sized enterprises in battling against the rising threat of ransomware.  To research risks and develop cybersecurity guidelines for the same, a cybersecurity firm has been enlisted.

The 35th “Hunt Forward” activities, which were conducted in 18 nations including Estonia, Lithuania, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Ukraine, were successfully completed by the U.S. Cyber Command’s Cyber National Mission Force. The most recent one happened in Croatia. These activities are carried out to assist nations all around the world in identifying complex malware and fortifying themselves against incoming cyberattacks.

The first known phishing assault against PyPI occurred in the month of August; the message claimed to be about developing a validation procedure in the targeted package repository but really contained a link to a phoney website. Chinese threat actors like APT41 and RedAlpha were also in the news because they were claiming victims in the public and private sectors. Attacks on cryptocurrency and other blockchain-based platforms persisted, with intruders stealing $200 million from Nomad and roughly $6 million from the Solana network, respectively.
