If the information about the hack is true then it is very important for the UK’s government to take it seriously, as the information leaked can be crucial and also lead to problems for the UK’s government. It is also claimed that the data leaked may affect 37 different councils across the United Kingdom.
The data is being shared on the largest leak website Breach Forums. Recently there was a hacker who claimed that he has the source code of TikTok. This led to a widespread rumor that TikTok is not safe anymore. However, TikTok gave an official statement to Thetechoutlook “Our security team has found no evidence of a security breach. We have confirmed that the data samples in question are all publicly accessible and are not due to any compromise of TikTok systems, networks, or databases. The samples also appear to contain data from one or more third party sources not affiliated with TikTok. We do not believe users need to take any proactive actions, and we remain committed to the safety and security of our global community.”
Breach Forums owner then removed the user AgainstTheWest from posting anymore information on the portal for lying about the details of the hack.
