Remember the Girl Hackathon 2022 campaign started by Google India last year, well the company is back again with the same campaign this year too. This campaign is only for women students as the name suggests so if you are still a student with great coding skills this is your chance to showcase your talent at such a big platform. What is Girl Hackathon 2023?
This is basically a program for women students in computer science and allied courses across India. This program is designed by the company to provide a platform for women in the engineering campus space to showcase their coding skills and promote creative solutions for real-time technical challenges. This virtual hackathon inspires the participants to creatively engage with Google.
Different rounds of Girl Hackathon 2023
- From May 22 the registrations for this program are open and it will be closing on May 28
- First is the Coding Challenge round which will start on June 2. In this round participants whose applications have been accepted will be invited for this round to look at their coding skills
- The second round is the Learning Cohorts in which the participants who clear the first round will be invited in which they will get the opportunity to learn and engage with Googlers. They will also be provided with assignments on the basis of which their performance will be evaluated
- The last and final round is the Ideathon in which participants will be asked to put their knowledge into practice and solutions for a themed problem statement in two sub-rounds. The final result will be decided by Senior Google leaders finalizing the winners and runners-up.
