IndiGo says servers attacked in December, internal records may be posted to public channels

IndiGo Airlines said on Thursday that some of its servers had been breached earlier in December and that hackers might post some internal documents to public platforms.

In an official statement, the airlines said that they would like to make this announcement that some of their servers had a hacking incident earlier this month. They have been able to rebuild their systems in a very short time with limited effects.

Airlines confirmed that there are some parts of data servers that have been hacked, and therefore “there is a possibility that some internal documents of the company may get uploaded by the hackers on public websites and platforms.”

They understand the seriousness of the matter and plan to work with all relevant experts and law enforcement to ensure that the incident is reviewed in depth.
