Microsoft’s MSFT official account hacked, and was used to spread Musk/Tesla scam
Recently a lot of official Twitter accounts are being hacked by cybercriminals. In a recent turn of events, one of Microsoft’s MSFT official account was being hacked and was used to spread Tesla /Musk scam.
According to a Twitter user Malwarehunterteam, the tweet that was making the headline was deleted in no less than 10 minutes after it was being posted. They even shared the snapshots of the tweet that was being shared on the MSFT Accessibility account.
Malwarehunterteam also put Microsoft in question that whether they will answer the questions of how they were being pwned or they will just let it go as if nothing has happened.
So, one of Microsoft's (obviously verified) accounts is currently being used to spread Musk / Tesla themed scam: https://t.co/uxLWWlEzhH

At least if they couldn't secure the account, the tweet was deleted less in less than 10 minutes…

Anyway, hopefully Microsoft will get some questions from "big name journalists" about how their account got pwned and etc, as if no, it would not be surprising if they will act as nothing happened…

Twitter also shared a number of users who are being used to spread this Musk/Tesla scam through their official verified channels.
Anyway, now that I mentioned that, let's mention there were 4 more verified accounts that were used to spread Musk / Tesla themed scams in the replies to that tweet:https://t.co/4rUCA08mcihttps://t.co/fbZpbb36Sdhttps://t.co/sqLtYhlRbUhttps://t.co/IRPTov2R5K

Let’s see if Twitter is also going to step in to resolve this matter.
