Russian trains still not in function after being hacked by GhostSec
Last month, Ghost Security announced that it had gained access to information technology systems that support Russia’s subway systems.
They then immobilised all of the trains and removed all of their control panels. Until today, the trains have not been used nor have the control panels returned.
Shortly after that they Immobilized all the trains and have taken down all their control panels.

Anonymous and other hacktivist organisations reported intrusions into the country’s transportation and financial critical infrastructure sectors.
The hacker group seized controls for the smoke system, the air conditioning (TEMP) in each train (labelled car in attached images), the battery system, full building blueprints with temp control, and reports on each train.
Every metro in Russia is served by Metrospetstekhnika’s IT system.
