Samsung Knox Receives CC Certification Setting Security Standard High

Samsung Knox security platform that will be integrated into its 2024 TVs has received the Common Criteria(CC) certification ahead of product launch. As per the Samsung Newsroom, it has achieved 10 consecutive years of CC certification for the Samsung Knox. It is acknowledged by 31 countries worldwide this increasing reliance on Samsung TVs.

“As our daily lives become even more connected, Samsung understands the fundamental need that customers have for the privacy and security of their personal information,” said Yongjae Kim, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics.

“With this in mind, we’re proud to have achieved 10 consecutive years of CC certification for Samsung Knox on our TVs, based on the continual strengthening of our security measures and standards.” With CC certification Samsung aims to highlight a certain core feature of Knox’s security platform including Tizen OS Monitoring, Phishing website blocking, and enhanced personal information protection. It flags any unauthorized changes, verifies web pages accessed by users, and ensures the protection of users’ personal data.
