TATA IPL Mega Auction 2022: Ishaan Kishan, MI bought his first player at the highest price so far

Mumbai Indians is one of the best IPL teams in every season. They have set a record of winning the IPL trophy five times. The team is led by Rohit Sharma and is owned by India’s biggest conglomerate, Reliance Industries. Every season Mumbai Indians fans wait to see the team formation and keep their fixed on the television to watch the live auction.
This year too everyone was eager to see which players Mumbai Indians would choose. To no surprise Ishaan Kishan was the first player to be chosen by Mumbai indian at the highest price this year. He was bought for 15.25 crores after a tough fight with Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The winning bid by Ishan was the second highest ever among Indians at auction after Yuvraj Singh’s Rs 16 crore. With the Mumbai franchise, Ishan has already won two IPL titles at the age of 23. Their top run-scorer for the successful 2020 campaign was Ishan, who scored 516 runs.
It looks like Mumbai Indians are going to keep their faith in Ishaan Kishan as he turns out to be the best player for them.
