Krunal Pandya was bought for 8 crore 25 lakhs by Lucknow Supergiants . Teams were in competition for bidding on him. At first the competition was between Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings which later turned a competition between Sunrisers Hyderabad, Lucknow Supergiants and Gujarat Titans
All-rounder Krunal Pandya of Team India and Baroda was released by Mumbai Indians ahead of the IPL 2022. In IPL 2021, Krunal only took 1 wicket and scored 143 runs. He is the brother of cricketer Hardik Pandya.
