TATA IPL Mega Auction 2022: Nitish Rana bought by KKR FOR 8 crore

Nitish Rana easily rose to the price of above 5 crore. He triggered a bidding war between teams.
Nitish Rana played for KKR and the team wanted it’s player back and they were finally able to buy him for 8 crore.
The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) released left-handed batter Nitish Rana ahead of the IPL 2022 auction. Despite not having a bad IPL 2021 season, Rana was not consistent enough. In 17 matches, he made 383 runs at a strike rate of 121.97, including two half-centuries. KKR purchased him at the IPL 2018 auction and he remained with the franchise until the end of the 2021 season.
