ASUS USB4 PCIe Gen4 Card – Specs

ASUS’ USB4 PCIe Gen4 Card can be used on motherboards with onboard Thunderbolt or USB4 header and will equip users with jaw-dropping bandwidth, easy display connectivity, and power delivery. The add-in card can be used to get the advantage of high-speed external storage, a large daisy-chained monitor array, or even for fast-charging smartphones or other devices.

Up to 40Gbps of bi-directional bandwidth speed is supported, allowing blazing-fast file transfers to, as well as from external drives. Again, the add-in card is DisplayPort 1.4 compliant. This lets users connect monitors having resolutions of up to 8K to PCs. Users can find two ports that are marked “DP IN”, each for a single USB4 port.
