Intel Launches its New Intel Core 14th Gen Desktop Processor Lineup: Available Starting Today

Intel has now launched six new processors to its Intel Core 14th Generation desktop processor family. The new processors are going to be made available for purchase globally, both online and in retail stores and other OEM partner systems, starting today on the 17th of October 2023.

Intel Core 14th Gen Desktop Processor Lineup Introduced

The latest line-up of Intel desktop processors brings out the Core i9-14900K/KF processor, which is the world’s fastest desktop processor, and in total, six new unlocked desktop processors that deliver up to 24 cores and 32 threads, and also up to 6 GHz of clock speed, out of the box, have been introduced. To add, with the four more efficient cores (E-cores), the Intel Core i7-14700K processor comes with 20 cores and 28 threads when compared to its previous generation.

Speaking more about the line-up, the latest processors have a 23% gaming performance uplift when compared to other processors currently available in the market, and will be offering a much more immersive gaming experience to its users. The new Intel Application Optimization(APO) and the already existing Intel Thread Director, will again contribute to offering a better gaming experience.

The processors are also equipped with Intel’s XTU AI Assist feature and support DDR5 XMP speeds of more than 8,000 mega transfers/second(MT/S). Connectivity features have also been improved on the latest processors with the integrated support for Wi-Fi 6/6E and Bluetooth 5.3, as well as the discrete support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. It also supports Thunderbolt 4 and will support the upcoming Thunderbolt 5 connectivity.

Enthusiasts who are interested in upgrading their desktop devices with the latest Intel Core 14th Generation desktop processors can easily do so because of the compatibility it has with Intel 600 and 700 series chipsets.
