MediaTek Unveils the Dimensity 7050 Chipset and in India will Debut on the Lava Agni 2 5G 5G
MediaTek has launched a new chipset, the Dimensity 7050, and is to first arrive on the Lava Agni 2 5G smartphone in India.

The newly launched chipset, the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 is very much identical to the Dimensity 1080 chipset that was launched last year in the month of November and is built using TSMC’s N6 process technology.
Regarding its architecture, the chipset has a core configuration of 2+6 cores, and the primary cores, Cortex-A78 cores will be clocked at 2.6 GHz. The other six cores, which are the Cortex-A55 cores will have a clock speed of 2.0 GHz. It will also have the Arm Mali-G68 MC4 graphic processing unit.
The newly launched chipset will support upto LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage along with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and dual sim 5G connectivity support. For display, the chipset will also support displays with screen resolutions of upto 2520 x 1080 pixels along with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It will also be able to support camera sensors of upto 200MP and will be able to support 4K video recording at 30FPS.
The Dimensity 7050 chipset is said to have its debut on the Realme 11 Pro+ smartphone and in India will be first available on the Lava Agni 2 5G smartphone.
