Google Pixel Devices to Receive the Android Security Patch Update of May 2023

Google has released the list of Pixel smartphones that are to receive the latest Android Security Patch update of 2023. The devices will receive the update starting today, 2nd May 2023.

Android Security Patch Update May 2023

Google has started rolling out the Android Security Patch update of May 2023 to its various Pixel smartphones starting today and is to continue the rollout over the next week. Only the Pixel smartphones that are updated with the latest Android 13 operating system will receive the update.

Users will receive an OTA update and will probably get a notification once the update is available or can be checked on “System Updates”. It will be depending on the carrier and the device that the update will be rolled out and those of you who haven’t received the update, will likely have to wait until the next week to receive it.

About the Android Security Patch Update of May 2023 Update

The update doesn’t bring a lot but will update the device with the latest Android Security Patch and is to offer some system improvements and fixes.

Improvements will be brought to the devices’ touchscreen responses and the issue in the UI where lock-screen elements overlapped with the home screen will also be fixed.
