Nothing has begun to roll out Nothing OS 2.0.2a software update for Nothing Phone(2) users, brings key camera enhancements

While Nothing Phone(1) users are still awaiting the Nothing OS 2.0 update, there is some good news for Nothing Phone(2) users. Nothing has rolled out another update, Nothing OS 2.0.2a, for the Nothing Phone(2) users. According to the company, they have primarily focused on key camera enhancements.

Nothing OS 2.0.2a Software Update:

This update brings improved clarity to faces in indoor environments, optimized highlight levels in low light, and added a UI to display active HDR.

Dull tones have also been reduced, and the halo effect issue in portrait mode when shooting in HDR has been resolved.

These changes were necessary because, upon receiving the Nothing 2.0.2 update, Nothing Phone(2) users started experiencing camera issues. Some of the major problems were observed in HDR performance and smartphone capture quality. These were the main areas where Nothing claimed to have worked with the Nothing OS 2.0.2 software update. However, it ultimately turned out to be a significant issue for the users.

While the recent update has worked on resolving the issues introduced by the previous update for Nothing Phone(2) users, on the other hand, Nothing Phone(1) users are still waiting to receive the Nothing OS 2.0 update. Although it has been confirmed to be released by the end of this month, which we are almost at.
