One UI 6 stable update officially rolled out for Galaxy S23 series in Germany, other regions could soon receive the update

Samsung was recently reported to end soon its One UI 6 Beta program and the Samsung users were eagerly waiting for the brand to officially release the stable version of this update. Today tipster @IceUniverse revealed that the company will be rolling out the stable version of it’s Galaxy S23 series today. Well, Samsung has started rolling out the Android 14-based One UI 6 stable version for the Galaxy S23 series in Germany.

For the users who were earlier part of the Beta program, for them, this update weighs around 350MB. The update arrives with firmware version- S916BXXU3BWJM/ S916BOXM3BWJM/ S916BXXU3BWJM. It is expected that the company will be rolling out the update soon in the US and South Korea.

One UI 6: New features and improvements

This newly released update arrives with a new font and simpler icon labels, new weather and camera widgets, new lock screen customizations, a new emoji style in Samsung Keyboard, and a new auto blocker feature to block the installation of apps from unauthorized app stores. Other than these new features the software update also arrives with redesigned quick settings and notifications panel, richer data in the weather app, tweaks in the camera app, multitasking improvements in the Gallery app, modes are now directly tied to the lock screen whereas Bixby text call will now support more languages.  Apart from this the update also brings several more improvements and features.

After the Galaxy S23 series, other Samsung flagship phones and tablets are also expected to receive the update in the coming days and weeks.
