As confirmed earlier, OnePlus has now officially unveiled its next OxygenOS 14 custom user interface and some of its exciting new features have been revealed.
Check it out below.
OxygenOS 14 Announced
OnePlus has already revealed that the OxygenOS 14 custom UI will feature a proprietary platform called Trinity Engine, incorporating six advanced and innovative technologies. CPU Vitalization, RAM Vitalization, and ROM Vitalization form the core of the Trinity Engine. CPU Vitalization ensures faster computing speed with better battery efficiency. RAM Vitalization, which was first introduced on the OnePlus 11 flagship device with OxygenOS 13, has been made 10% better, allowing the device to run frequently used apps in the background for up to 72 hours. ROM Vitalization assures smoother performance on the device, even after two years of typical usage.
HyperRendering, HyperTouch, and HyperBoost, the other three technologies, make sure that users receive a better gaming experience on their OnePlus devices. HyperRendering generates better graphics, HyperTouch assures a better touch experience, and HyperBoost addresses the matter of high power consumption.
The latest OxygenOS 14 is also not making any compromises regarding privacy and security features. Features like Device Security Engine 3.0 based on the Trusted Execution Environment(TEE), Strong Box4 powered by a built-in eSE(embedded Secure Element), and Auto Pixelate 2.0, are some characteristic privacy and security features of the latest custom UI.
From the design side, OnePlus has decided to continue with the natural and simplified Aquamorphic Design, featuring new interactions, animations, music, color systems, and many more. One of the most notable features of Aquamorphic Design 2.0 is the Fluid Cloud. Notifications will be displayed in the form of bubbles, capsules, and panels. A dynamically changing color system, new Aquamorphic-themed ringtones & sound effects, and a Go Green AOD(Always-On-Display) are some of the other design elements.
Coming to productivity, the OxygenOS 14 has a lot of features, like the File Dock, an upgraded Notes app, and a Smart Cutout feature. With File Dock, users will be able to collect, analyze, and share global information with gestures. The Notes 2.0 comes with many more formatting options and users will be able to combine different text elements to create templates. The Smart Cutout feature enables users to crop a subject from an image, more precisely and accurately, and even from complex backgrounds or from backgrounds sharing the same color tone.
OnePlus hasn’t started the rollout of the OxygenOS 14 stable version yet but plans to roll it out to the OnePlus 11 smartphone first, in the middle of November 2023, this year. Later, it will also be rolled out to other eligible devices.
