OxygenOS 14 Closed Beta test for OnePlus 11 starts from today in India only; Check the eligibility criteria and how to apply for the program

Smartphone brands all over India have started integrating Android 14 into their custom interfaces. Recently Oppo has started its ColorOS 14 CBT program and now its subsidiary company OnePlus has officially announced through its community page that OxygenOS 14 Closed Beta test has now commenced for OnePlus 11 Indian users.

The brand has started the CBT so that they can collect user feedback and improve the software experience for all users. If a user is using the Indian OxygenOS version of the OnePlus 11 and wants to get their hands first on this latest beta upgrade then here’s the chance for you.

Though the company has warned the users this program will cause data loss and that the CBT version is not stable version therefore the users need to be patient after updating to this version as some third-party apps are also not compatible with Android 14 for now. Problems like black screen issues on the lock screen while receiving calls, and stuttering issues due to fingerprint unlock. App interface is shown directly without animation and stuttering issues during switching tasks can be faced after upgrading.

For this particular program, 500 OnePlus 11 Indian users will be invited to attend the CBT who meet the following requirements-

• You are using a OnePlus 11 Indian variant
• You are an active OnePlus community member
• You are willing to regularly communicate and report issues/suggestions to the OnePlus team via the Feedback app
• You are willing to join the CBT telegram group to communicate with the OnePlus team and other users actively and friendly
• For confidentiality participants are not allowed to secretly share the CBT installation package or any content related to internal beta with people outside the project team.

How to apply for the CBT program?

• Confirm your phone has been updated to the detectable version: CPH2447_13.1.0.580(EX01)/CPH2447_13.1.0.590(EX01)
• Got to settings-About device-Tap up to date-Tap on the icon on top right-Follow steps to apply

Interested users can only apply from August 4 to August 10, if your application gets approved you will be receiving the version in 3 workdays. Also if your application gets verified you will receive a Telegram group invite by message.
