The Chinese consumer electronics maker, Realme has announced its Realme UI 5.0 early adopter version second batch recruitment for the GT Explorer Master Edition smartphone in China.
Here’s more about it.
Realme UI 5.0 Early Adopter Version for GT Explorer Master Edition
Realme is now inviting 1,500 more GT Explorer Master Edition users for the second batch of the Realme UI 5.0 early adopter version program. To note, the first batch is already full with 1,000 candidates. The selected candidates for the second batch will be receiving the early adopter version with the firmware version – “RMX3366_13.1.0.201”. However, it has to be kept in mind that the early adopter version won’t be as stable as stable versions, and will be more unstable than open beta versions.
About the changelogs, the early adopter version will bring some upgrades to the user interface, along with certain themed ringtones and system sounds; better stability, app startup speeds, and smoother animations; improved photo-video management system; privacy watermarks; input and display support for rare characters; better phone transfer/migration features; optimizations for text and handwritten text recognition; optimized cross-end synchronizations and Device Space to manage interconnected devices; and an added Car+ feature.
Regarding the known issues, users may experience instability in the Wi-Fi connection, and the connection might disconnect at times. Wait until it reconnects again to resolve it.
For those users who are interested in being a part of the Realme UI 5.0 early adopter version program, they may go to the device’s “Settings” and visit “About phone”. There click on the “Realme UI version” and in the next window, tap on the three dots at the top-right corner. Select “Public Application”, and fill in the mobile phone number and other details to apply. If selected, the update will be rolled out.
Users must also keep in mind to leave at least 15GB of internal storage within the device to prevent any upgrade failure. They must also ensure a battery charge of at least 60% too before updating. The device should also not be rooted.
