Several Galaxy S23 users came forth to report the annoying fingerprint issue after installing the update. Fortunately, the company has acknowledged it.

The company on its community forum(via @tarunvats33) said that they are aware of the fingerprint-related issue that few Galaxy S23 users are facing after installing the 6.1 update. They are planning to release an update soon that will improve the problem. The company didn’t specify the timeline of the launch of this new update though users can expect it anytime soon.

Some of the users after installing the update 6.1 said that the fingerprint reader icon doesn’t appear when they wake up their phone. Users tried to put their finger on where the fingerprint icon was supposed to be, but the phone didn’t unlock.
